• Our building audit determines if any fire safety compliance and risk deficiencies are present.
• Inspection of all fire safety measures and paths of travel within the building to verify consistency with the nominated standards of performance,  including but not limited to evacuation routes, exit doors, evacuation diagrams, exit lighting, fire detection and alarm system.
• Verification that fire safety installations are being maintained to the required standards and their status –including but not limited to extinguishers, fire hose reels, hydrants, fire doors, fire walls.
• Identification of adverse housekeeping and management practices presenting increased risk to life and property.
• Verification of occupancy limits for buildings according to their building classification.

We also undertake and record training with occupants/residents on the proper use of the firefighting equipment at the property. Practice emergency procedure to evacuate all the buildings is also required under the regulations. Attendance forms will be recorded and kept for compliance for inspection of QFD. The annual practice is required under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.

We will also assist the body corporate in preparing and lodging the annual Occupiers Statement on behalf of the body corporate for the QFED. This is also required under the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.
